Gallery House

  The gallery opened in April, 2009 at the corner of Carr Street and Sutherland Avenue in Bearden, West Knoxville, TN.  This quaint 1200 square-foot gallery features original paintings by Larry S. Cole and hand-created three dimensional art collected from around the country and the world. 

  Gallery House visitors will find a welcoming atmosphere where they can linger at their leisure in the four gallery display rooms or spend some time watching the artist as he works in his studio.  

  The gallery hosts frequent events where patrons can enjoy wine and hors d'oeuvres by the fireplace in the main room or on the deck. 

Gallery House also participates in the Bearden District's First Friday celebration by remaining open late into the evening on the first Friday of each month, April through December.

Larry S. Cole

  Larry has had a life-long interest in painting.  He resumed painting upon retiring in 2007 after more than 30 years in corporate management. 

  Larry works in a wide range of media, but primarily in oil, acrylic and watercolor.  His works reflect the use of a bright and colorful palette in subjects ranging from

 settings in Greece and Italy to the Eastern US seacoast and his native South.  

  He also excels in portraiture, creating portraits of patrons, their children, pets and homes.
